Cities and minorities

Every trip to Israel should include a visit to the other main cities such as Tel-Aviv and Haifa.

In Tel-Aviv, you will find beautiful sandy beaches, great nightlife, and an excellent local food scene. This can be the highlight of the visit to many of us.

Getting to know Tel Aviv can be achieved in many different ways:

1) Local street food such as the popular Shawarma, tasty Hummus or the famous falafel is highly recommended, however, if you prefer fine dining, Tel Aviv has numerous restaurants which represent many cuisines from around the world with an Israeli twist.

2) A tour which begins in Jaffa, the 4000 years old city, and its harbor. Continues to a walk in the famous Jaffa flee market. In this tour you will also be able to see the transition from the old city of Jaffa to the relatively new city of Tel-Aviv.

3) In case you are a museum enthusiast, you have plenty of options such as the Tel Aviv Museum for fine art, Eretz Israel museum of history of the land, Diaspora/HaTfutsot museum for the history of the Jewish people, and many more.

Haifa, the city of tolerance and the co-living space for a number of minorities and people of different religions. The city is located at the foot of Mount Carmel and offers its visitor an opportunity to enjoy its sandy beaches as well as its lively mountain forests.

The visit to Haifa will begin in Wadi Nisnas and its local yet popular market in which we will meet with the local residents of the neighborhood. We will continue to the German Colony in which we will enjoy a nice cup of coffee or small snack. Afterwards, we will proceed to the Bahai Gardens and learn about the world’s newest religion and its beliefs which include beauty and esthetics in its’ core. The tour will be concluded by visiting the Druze villages which lay on the Carmel Mountain
