ABOUT

My name is Arnon Roman, a licensed tour guide for the past 10 years. I was born and raised in the north of Israel, in the city of Haifa and moved to the picturesque Jezreel Valley to raise my family.

Following many years of military services as a Colonel in the IDF, I have returned to my lifelong passion - guiding tours, meeting new people and the opportunity to meet Israel in more then one way.

The geopolitical complexity and the alterations of the country's borders throughout the years pose a challenge in understanding the region's current situation. Border tours enable the participant to grasp a better understanding of what the Media tells us by being in the places the media refers to. Israel has borders with a number of countries and each one of them has a story of its own. Meeting the people who inhabit the nearby areas and hearing their stories enables better understanding of the intricate Israeli story and the frequent changes in the broader Middle East region such as the Arab Spring uprisings.
